Individual Therapy
In my comfortable and tranquil office, it’s OK to say anything you want. We will focus on what you’re going through, on the strengths, talents, qualities that help you cope, and on the goals that brought you to therapy.

You – are the expert on your life.
I – am a professional therapist

Together, we will improve your quality of life.

Anxiety and trauma

Similar to physical pain that signals us to attend to an illness or wound, fear is a blessing. It warns us of danger and encourages self-defense.
However, when fear turns into continual anxiety (even when the danger has passed), or when anxiety engulfs us for no discernible reason, enjoying life is impossible.

Being stuck

Sometimes, you need a change but feel unable to make it happen.
Perhaps you’ve sunk into habits you hate, or are caught in a relationship that brings pain instead of joy.
Maybe…

Improving decision-making processes
Does having to make a fateful decision terrify you?
Do you begin to sweat when urged “C’mon! Choose a café for us!”?
In the past, have you impulsively made foolish decisions?
It doesn’t have to be that way.

Therapy for English-speakers

Therapy is based on good communication between us. People express themselves best in their mother-tongue.

Therapy for religious people

A sensitive and skilled therapist is able to help people of various backgrounds and cultures. However, sometimes religious individuals or families feel more secure with a religious therapist who understands their world-view, social milieu and modern Orthodox “language”.

The special concerns of ages 20-35

After military or national service, or after returning from a long trip abroad, young adults face difficult decisions about higher education, vocational choice, life-style, and potential spouses.
